This giclée print of a striking original oil painting depicts a red-shouldered hawk perched atop a rotting tree trunk in a marshy landscape at sunset. The orange light passes across the marsh at an angle that cast a shadow of the hawk’s beak upon his breast adding tremendous depth and dimension to the work. No detail has been spared in the depiction of this magnificent bird, and when you own this painting it will seem as though he might leap off the painting at any moment. Any wildlife or art lover will appreciate this piece.
This is an unframed giclée canvas print, made to order, as a less expensive option for those who enjoy oil paintings but find originals out of their price range. The premium-wood stretcher bars are knot-free, straight and nicely beveled for minimal contact with the canvas. The pigments used are archival and will last many generations; a protective, light-fast varnish is included. The stretcher bars are offered in either 0.75 inch with white edges or 1.5 inch depth with mirrored edges. The 1.5 inch does not require framing and can be hung upon arrival. The 0.75 inch canvas is intended to be framed, but could still be hung as is if you don’t mind white edges. Mirrored means that the image reverses and prints on the sides of the canvas, giving the illusion of being continuous over the entire canvas.
Giclée canvas and paper prints are printed by Gallery Street (my partner business) in Roswell GA, and will ship directly from their location in order to save time and shipping costs.
