Foggy Craggy Gardens

This moody black and white photograph depicts the opening of the trail to the top of Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway. As the photographer took this shot, thick fog rolled in obscuring the trail beyond. The plants are known as Catawba Rhododendron. The photograph was taken on medium format film.
